Vhi Healthcare price increase and benefit changes 01.09.2021

Vhi Healthcare have annouced the following changes from 01.09.2021: 

PMI 19 11 will increase in price from €1283.20 to €1327.80 per adult. Child rates will increase from €365.80 to €376.78. 

Young adult rates will also increase on this plan

PMI 38 14 will increase in price from €1716.80 to €1,755.03 per adult. Child rates will increase from €549.08 to €562.06

Young adult rates will also increase on this plan

The following benefit changes will also apply from the 1st of September 2021

PMI 19 11 

A Meditation App benefit is being included on the plan providing a benefit of €30 per renewal. This benefit was previously allowed to members via the interim rules addendum in response to Covid. We are now including it on the Table of Benefits.
The Cancer Care Support benefit is being amended to allow for accommodation, travel & parking costs.
Wording amendment in section 1B to clarify that members have full cover for Radiotherapy & Chemotherapy treatment.
The Additional Cancer Support benefits now include a benefit for a sleeping cap.

PMI 38 14 

A new benefit for an Intrauterine system (IUS) hormonal coil is being included on the plan providing a benefit of 75% up to €400 per lifetime.
The child speech and language therapy benefit has been removed from the plan.
