Vhi price updates, benefit changes & new plan announcement 01.04.2020

Vhi Healthcare have added a new plan. It is called 'PMI 52 10' and will be available from April 1st 2020.

It is priced at €1,193.46 per adult and €300.98 per child. Young adult rates will start at €415.58. See Table of Benefits below:

There will be price changes to 4 plans effective April 1st 2020. They are as follows:

Vhi have also announced the following benefit changes:

PMI 04 10

• Vhi SwiftCare Appointment services included on the plan 
• Female & Male screening benefit has been removed
• The Employee Assistance Programme has been removed   

PMI 38 14  

• Additional Fertility benefit included on the plan covering the Merrion Fertility Clinic
• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €25 per visit)
• The day-to-day annual maximum has increased to €8,000 per member, per year
• Adult counselling & psychotherapy benefit included on the plan  
• Child counselling & psychotherapy benefit included on the plan  

PMI 08 11

• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €25 per visit)

PMI 26 12  

• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €25 per visit)

PMI 49 10  

• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €50 per visit)

• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €50 per visit)

CompanyPlan Starter

• CompanyPlan Starter is changing from a non-advanced to an advanced plan effective 1st April 2020. The list of hospitals being included and removed is outlined in appendix 1
• Private hospital cover included
• Private hospital excesses included (daycare/sideroom excess per claim of €250. In-patient excess per claim of €500)
• The SwiftCare MIU benefit now provides unlimited visits at full cover (subject to an excess of €50 per visit)
• Public hospital maternity benefit reduced to €400  
• Maternity & Baby bundle has been removed
• Medical & surgical appliances benefit reduced to €1,000 (subject to an excess of €300)
• Pre & post natal care benefit has been removed
• Hearing test benefit has been removed
• Changes in day-to-day cover 

All changes will apply to new and renewing customers on 1st April 2020.
