Vhi price and benefit changes and plan closures – 1 May 2024

Price changes

On 1 May 2024, Vhi will increase the price of the following plan:

Benefit changes

On 1 May 2024, Vhi will make the following benefit changes:

Company Plan

• Travel vaccinations – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess
• Foetal screening – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess
• Paediatrician benefit – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess

PMI 44 16

• Travel vaccinations – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess
• Foetal screening – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess
• Paediatrician benefit – no longer subject to the €1 day-to-day section excess

AdvancedCare Extra

• Removal of the €50 per night excess for private accommodation in private hospitals

Change to Cancer Care Support benefit 

On 1 May 2024, the €1,500 per calendar year limit for the Cancer Care Support benefit will be removed from the following plans:

• AdvancedCare
• AdvancedCare Day-to-day
• AdvancedCare 50
• AdvancedCare 50 Day-to-day
• AdvancedCare 100 
• AdvancedCare 100 Day-to-day

Plan closures

On 1 May 2024, the following plans will be closed:

• Health Access
• HealthPlus Excess
• HealthPlus Access
• HealthPlus Extra
