Laya Healthcare price and benefit changes – 1 January 2025
Price changes
On 1 January 2025, Laya Healthcare will change the price of 16 plans.

Benefit changes
On 1 January 2025, Laya Healthcare will make the following benefit changes;
Transform Entry
- Quickcare and Fracture Clinic visits will be subject to a €100 excess per claim.
- Emergency Dental benefit will be removed.
Transform Care
- The Daycase Excess in Private and Hi-Tech Hospitals will increase to €75 per claim.
- Quickcare and Fracture Clinic visits will be subject to a €75 excess per claim.
- Child Counselling will no longer have a separate amount for an assessment, and the number of visits will increase.
- Emergency Dental and Routine Dental benefits will be removed.
- The additional benefit for HSE out of hours GP will no longer apply, all visits will be assessed at 50% o A limit of 10 visits will apply to the Chiropody/Podiatry benefit
- A limit of 10 visits will apply to the Chiropody/Podiatry benefit
Transform Plus
- The Excess in Private and Hi-Tech Hospitals will change to €100 per claim.
- The overnight shortfall per night in Blackrock and Mater Private will increase to €250 per night.
- Quickcare and Fracture Clinic visits will be subject to a €75 excess per claim
- Child Counselling will no longer have a separate amount for an assessment, and the number of visits will increase.
- Emergency Dental and Routine Dental benefits will be removed
- The additional benefit for HSE out of hours GP will no longer apply, all visits will be assessed at 50% o The Executive Health Check benefit will now be available every 2 years
- A limit of 12 visits will apply to the Chiropody/Podiatry benefit
- A limit of 12 visits will apply to the Physiotherapy benefit
- The Hearing Benefit limit will increase to €150
Transform Advanced
- An Excess will now apply to Private, Hi Tech and Non-Hospital Surgical Centre claims.
- The overnight shortfall per night in Blackrock and Mater Private will increase to €200 per night.
- Quickcare and Fracture Clinic visits will be subject to a €75 excess per claim.
- Child Counselling will no longer have a separate amount for an assessment, and the number of visits will increase.
- Emergency Dental and Routine Dental benefits will be removed.
- The additional benefit for HSE out of hours GP will no longer apply, all visits will be assessed at 75%.
- The Executive Health Check benefit will now be available every 2 years.
- A limit of 12 visits will apply to the Physiotherapy benefit.
