Irish Life Health price and benefit changes – 1 January 2025

Price changes

On 1 January 2025, Irish Life Health will change the price of 130 of its plans.

Benefit changes

On 1 January 2025, Irish Life Health will make benefit changes to the following plan:

Better Select ILH 

• Pre/Post natal medical expenses - Covered up to €600.
• Child Development Benefit - 75% up to €2,500 for a developmental/neurodevelopmental assessment.
• Consultant fees (non-maternity) - 75% of each visit; International Second Opinion service – Covered.
• GP Visits - 75% up to €45 per visit.
• Physiotherapist or Physical therapist - €40 per visit.
• Public A&E Cover - 50% up to €50 per visit.
• Menopause Benefit - Covered up to €250 per visit.
• Health screening and allergy testing - Up to €400 per policy year.
• Gender Affirmation Benefit - 75% up to €100,000 per lifetime; Gender Affirmation Support Benefit - Covered up to €5,000 per lifetime.
• Adult Neurodiversity Benefit - 75% up to €2,500 for a neurodiversity assessment.
• Female Health Consultation - 50% cover x 4 consultations per year with a provider partner.
• Maternity mental health support - €40 x 10 sessions with Nurture available as part of the Fertility Extra Personalised package.
